Orange County K-university institutions stand to receive $973 million with Proposition 55's passage in March 2004.

Since voters approved the bond, Orange County can expect:

  • an economic impact of $1.5 billion
  • the addition of nearly 11,000 jobs, and
  • the generation of $574 million in wages.
