California State Assembly bill to ban teen drivers from using cell phone, pager, text-messaging device or laptop

Dr. Federico Vaca is an associate professor of clinical emergency medicine and executive director of the Center for Trauma and Injury Prevention Research. A former fellow with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Vaca is an expert on driver safety issues and his research focuses on reducing injuries and fatalities from traffic accidents. He regularly addresses teen driving safety issues.
